The standing committee has approved the creation of a Cogen Utility position in the Cogen Line of Progression. Both the Company and the Union agree to the following over the life of the contract:

As part of this letter of understanding both parties agree to the evaluation process which all new hires must complete within six months of beginning the Cogen Utility assignment. Failure to successfully complete the evaluation process will mean the employee will be placed in the labor pool. The evaluation is attached to this letter of understanding.
